Hello PRCS families! Today we are joining millions of people around the globe who are celebrating the power of reading as we recognize World Read Aloud Day here at school. We have lots of reading aloud going on, with guest readers popping into classrooms both in person and virtually. Be sure to ask your children all about it! We think that reading aloud to and with children is one of the great joys in life and encourage every family to establish a regular time to read aloud. If you ever need assistance getting books for your home, please let us know and we would be happy to help. We wanted to share some of our read alouds with you, so that you may listen to them with your children at home if you'd like. Please see the links below to enjoy these read alouds. Happy reading! Dear PRCS Parents/Guardians: Hello! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying this more seasonable weather. Now with the coming of snow, please be sure to send your children with coats, snow pants, snow boots, hats, and mittens or gloves. In order for children to play on the playground when we have snow, we require them to be wearing snow boots and snow pants. This is to prevent children being wet and cold for the rest of the day, which distracts them from their learning. When children do not have the appropriate gear, they are required to stay in our tar area. Thank you for partnering with us to help children stay warm, dry and focused on doing their best learning! If you need any assistance with winter clothing, please don’t hesitate to let us know and we are happy to help! Also, children are bringing their report cards home today. I hope you have a nice weekend! Christina O’Neal, Ph.D. Principal coneal@msad11.org 582-6268
